Quality Service Promise and Rental Terms

  1. Green Spain Holidays offer these properties for holiday rental on behalf of several owners who are known personally to us, thereby ensuring that you are dealing with trustworthy and reliable people.

    • We have personally inspected each property, photographed it and verified that the property information stated is correct.

    • We offer only the best properties in the area to maintain a consistently high standard of accommodation.

    • Many of the owners do not speak English, so we remove the language barrier by having agents in the area who are contactable on mobile telephones to deal with any queries or problems arising during your stay.

  2. We arrange the rental booking deposit on behalf of the owner. This is forwarded to them, less the arrangement fee and no additional or hidden charges are payable. The balance is paid directly to the owner either in advance or upon arrival as described elsewhere in the property booking form.

  3. The Rental Agreement is made between the property owner and the client. The terms for this rental were regulated by the Spanish 'Urban Rental Law 29/1994' in respect to 'seasonal rentals' (Ley 29/1994, de 24 de noviembre, de Arrendamientos Urbanos', referente a 'alquileres de temporada'), but now a new law has been introduced by the Galician Autonomy Goverment to regulate the short term 'touristic' rentals, which came in force from 10-May-2017.  As a result all property owners are requested to meet some requirements and to declare the properties to be incorporated into a goverment registry and to get the appropriate authorization. A detailed written contract (in Spanish) is available under demand, and we can also provide a receipt for the rental agreement, which in most cases will suffix as a substitute.

  4. Although we will endeavour to negotiate with the owner in exceptional circumstances, (e.g. where a private pool requires attention and may be out of use for several days), in order to arrange immediate repair/replacement, alternative accommodation or refund, we cannot be held liable for any problem arising during your stay in the property, other than in the unlikely event that the property details are incorrect.

  5. We strongly advise all clients renting holiday property to take out their own insurance to cover any loss or damage to themselves or caused by them to the rented property, as we do not guarantee the sufficiency of any insurance cover held by the individual property owners. They may also ask for a security deposit in cash to cover minor damages to property.

  6. We aim to act in a strictly professional and reasonable manner in any dealings between the property owner and their clients.

  7. Clients are asked to leave the property in the same condition as they found it, as in many ocasions owners have only a few hours to clean the house and organize change of bed linen and towels.
